Amorphous Materials

Amorphous materials are produced in one step by the super-rapid freezing of the metal melt. In contrast to conventional metals, they exhibit no crystal structure. Punched parts in amorphous metals to customer specification for electronic and automotive applications

Amorphous metals characteristics:
  • homogeneous composition
  • excellent flow behavior
  • cavity free solder connections
Typical applications:
  • braze-alloys for brazing stainless steel under vacuum;and for extremely corrosion-free application
  • bonding tungsten and molybdenum
